InDesign Level 1 (CMPT 1406)

Adobe InDesign is the industry standard page layout program for multi-page print advertisement. This course is a comprehensive exploration of InDesign tools, panels, and basics.

In this instructor-led training, you will learn how to set up documents and master pages, import text, advanced graphics and how to use typography and styles. You will also learn how to create professional, simple, multi-page print materials such as flyers, brochures, reports, magazines, and newspapers. Students will engage in hands-on learning through industry-relevant assignments and in-class exercises.

Please note that this course is taught on a Mac. Students will have access to Adobe Creative Cloud for the duration of the course.

For online learning, having a second monitor is very useful but not essential. You will learn through live demonstrations while interacting with a subject matter expert.
