In this introductory course, students will learn the concepts of digital image editing using GIMP, a free and open-source image editor. GIMP is a powerful graphics editor and can run on multiple platforms. This course provides an overview of the available tools and techniques to edit digital images. Students will learn a variety techniques to retouch, combine, and colour correct images.
Students will learn through live demonstrations while interacting with a subject matter expert during the class sessions.
