Paula Kremer - musician

Paula Kremer

Born in Vancouver and educated at UBC and the Vancouver Academy of Music, Paula Kremer has studied choral conducting at Eton College, Westminster Choir College, the Eastman School of Music, and the University of Michigan. A permanent faculty member of the School of Music at VCC, Paula teaches choral techniques, voice, and solfege. Paula has been the Vancouver Cantata Singers’ Artistic Director since 2013. Deirdre Morgan - musician

Deirdre Morgan

Dr. Deirdre Morgan (PhD SOAS, University of London) is a Canadian ethnomusicologist and musician who is a leading expert on the jew’s harp. Her research focuses on identity, representation, music revival, and the cultural study of musical instruments. A permanent faculty member at VCC, Deirdre’s teaching spans a broad range, including musicianship, history, social media, ethnomusicology, and popular music studies. Learn more about Deirdre.


Adrien Verdejo - musician

Adrian Verdejo

Adrian Verdejo is a Canadian guitarist, recording artist, podcaster, and music educator based in Vancouver. Adrian is a classical guitar instructor at VCC's School of Music. He is a founding member of the Victoria Guitar Trio and has also played with the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra. Adrian holds degrees from University of Ottawa (MMus), University of Victoria (BMus), and Capilano University (Dip.) Learn more about Adrian.
