If you’re not sure how to begin, here are some ideas to get you started:

  2. Research employers – what you need to know about potential employers
  3. Write a resume – use your research to write an effective resume and cover letter
  4. Practice interview skills – get tips to practice your interview skills
  5. Search for jobs – access job posting sites and postings specifically for VCC students and alumni

VCC Student Service Centre – Meet with a Counsellor to discover your career goals and manage job-search stress. Talk to an advisor to plan an educational path to help you meet your career goals.

VCC Learning Centre – Visit a tutor to get help with your resume and cover letter writing process, or to practice job interview skills.

VCC Library – Ask a librarian to help you access career and job hunting related books, videos and articles available in the library in print and online.
